About the Creator
I’m a homeschooling mom who is still actively homeschooling my children and building the kind of support I needed when I began.
When I started, I was largely on my own—researching state requirements, figuring out what needed to be filed, choosing curriculum, and creating systems for planning, reporting, and recordkeeping. The information was scattered, and I did not have the practical support I needed to turn it into a clear plan.
I created The K–5 Homeschool Blueprint to give other parents practical support in one place: help getting started, official state guidance, organized lessons and simpler records. Tier 1 organizes resources your family already owns; Tiers 2 and 3 include an original 36-week curriculum shaped around each child's grade, subjects, schedule and learning preferences. Narrated explanations, worked examples, activities, quick checks and printable help make the plan easier to teach. Tier 3 adds homeschool start-up support, a parent-reviewable state subject worksheet and the applicable State Companion. Parents confirm their pathway and applicable requirements, review their materials and make decisions for their family.
This system is built to help parents succeed, help children succeed, and help families stay on track year after year. Parents remain in control: they review their materials, make decisions for their family, and submit anything their state or district requires—while spending less time piecing everything together and more time teaching and enjoying their children.
