What Is Required
New Hampshire generally does not require a commencement or annual home-education filing. A declaration is required only when withdrawing from public school or requesting access to public-school programs. Current RSA 193-A does not impose the former prescribed-subject list, two-year portfolio, or annual evaluation requirements. A parent may issue an optional certificate of completion and may submit it to the commissioner for a state certificate.
